Today was Gracie's 4th Birthday!! It was such a fun day, as you can tell from Natey's face. Gracie started off the day with ordering cereal with extra milk for breakfast. Then we opened presents and she got the bike she always wanted. She also received a beautiful purse from Grandma Perkes that she immediately had to try on. Gracie then chose to take her new wheels for a spin, and realized that riding a bike in Wal-Mart is a lot easier then the broken road. Needless to say we had our first spill about halfway down the path. It was a hard fall, but she got right back on and tried it again. We ended up walking the bike home, but it was a worthy effort on her part. =) We then hauled the whole fam to "The Rex" and did a game of bowling, and then played games for tickets. The kids love to get those tickets like you get at Chucky Cheese and get really cool things with them. (Jake and I are often miffed at how many tickets it takes to get a rainbow eraser.) But we had a great time. Then we came home and had (at Gracie's request) Coldstone strawberry icecream cake. She tends to like the ice cream more then the cake, so this was a perfect choice. All in all it was great day, I can't believe that my little girl is 4, where does the time go?
